Fall 2023 Ontario CEC President’s Message
Dear Ontario CEC members - welcome back to a new school year!
As President of Ontario CEC, and on behalf of the Ontario CEC Board of Directors, I hope you had a relaxing summer and that you are entering the new school year with enthusiasm and optimism.
I am pleased to confirm that the revised April 2023 Constitution and By Laws of the Ontario Council for Exceptional Children, posted on our website, was voted upon by the membership and the motion passed. As explained in the email sent to you on June 1, 2023, we usually hold a vote of this nature at our Annual General Meeting (AGM). Your Board of Directors decided to implement an electronic vote on this item to include more of our members. Thank you to those of you who voted.
This year’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on Thursday, November 23rd, preceding our 67th Annual Ontario CEC Conference - Well-Being, Equity, and Success for All at the Marriott Downtown at CF Toronto Eaton Centre Hotel.
